Content Policy
All creatives submitted to AdGrid are reviewed before going live. Content that violates these rules will be rejected.
Prohibited content
- ✕ Nudity, sexually explicit, or suggestive content
- ✕ Violence, gore, or weapons promotion
- ✕ Hate speech, discrimination, or offensive language
- ✕ Misleading claims, fake testimonials, or deceptive practices
- ✕ Political advertising without proper disclaimers
- ✕ Tobacco, alcohol (where prohibited), or controlled substances
- ✕ Competitor disparagement
Regulatory compliance
All content must comply with the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) guidelines. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring their creatives meet all applicable local regulations.

Typography
- ✓ Large fonts — minimum 72pt equivalent
- ✓ High contrast text for readability
- ✓ Maximum 7 words per message
- ✕ Avoid thin or decorative fonts
Colors & contrast
- ✓ Bold, high-contrast color palettes
- ✓ Screens compete with ambient light — go bright
- ✕ Avoid subtle gradients or pastel-on-pastel
- ✕ Avoid white text on light backgrounds
Animation & motion
- ✓ Subtle motion captures attention effectively
- ✓ Smooth transitions between scenes
- ✕ No rapid flashing — epilepsy risk
- ✕ Avoid strobing or flicker effects
Aspect ratios
- ✓ Match creative aspect ratio to the target screen zone
- ✓ Check screen details for exact dimensions
- ! Mismatched ratios may be letterboxed or cropped
Zone-Specific Tips
Main zone
Full creative freedom — standard landscape video and image ads. Typically 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio. Use your strongest visual.
Ticker zone
Text-heavy scrolling format. Best for promotions, URLs, taglines, and short messages. Keep text concise — viewers read at a glance.
Sidebar zone
Portrait-oriented space. Great for product shots, QR codes, or brand logos. Use vertical compositions and avoid landscape-designed creatives.
Campaign Requirements
- 1 Minimum budget: ₹500 total, ₹50 daily (if daily cap is set)
- 2 Start date: Must be today or in the future
- 3 Creatives: At least one approved creative before submission
- 4 Screens: At least one screen must be selected
- 5 Review: All campaigns and creatives go through admin moderation before going live
